Biography

Degree in Geography and History from the University of Barcelona, and Doctor of Documentation from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. He is a full professor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, specializing in subjects on research methods and techniques in Social Sciences in the Master in Information Management (MUGI) and in the Master in Digital Communication and Social Media. His lines of research revolve around scientific communication, scientometrics, quantitative research methods, cybermetrics and social media metrics. He has been a member of the Editorial Committee of the magazine El professional de la información (ISSN 1386-6710) and Committee 50 of AENOR. He is currently an evaluator of the Spanish Journal of Scientific Documentation (ISSN 0210-0614) and a remote expert of the National Agency for Evaluation and Prospective (ANEP).
